The HUM 106.7

As an independent, community-based and not-for-profit media outlet, we're always looking for ways to support the growth of our sector and the development of niche media. Over the last few years we've supported and hosted LPFM [low power FM] stations run specifically by Indian and Filipino communities, Afrobeat station Planet Waves FM, and had a relationship with Wintec's training station The Yak.

Our current side-project is The HUM 106.7 FM. It's a 100% NZ 'alt & indie' music station, with half of all tracks being from Hamilton and Waikato artists and bands. We welcome submissions for airplay consideration via thehum@freefm.org.nz
